We didn't have to wait for our room to be ready but the desk agent said some people have to wait until 8-9PM. Giving it 4 stars out of 5 because of some issues that seem like pretty big oversights. Like I get it they want you to go downstairs for food and drinks but no one is holing up in their room only eating $18 M&M's and $25 single beers. No coffee maker? No mini bar? No water? NOTHING? So weird.
We refused to hang out in the living room of our suite because there were SO MANY stains everywhere and I can't even begin to imagine how they originated. Room: Steam cleaners exist, teach your housekeeping staff how to use them. we liked the view from our first room better! Oops. We went down the next day and asked to be moved to an ocean view room had to haggle a bit because they tried to say we didn't book one (we did) and got moved. Bellman took us back down and they moved us to a room with an obstructed view, whatever, we could still see the beach. When we got to our ocean front suite there were people still in the room. I would LEAVE if that happened to me and you should too.
